| Significant vegetation on the site includes several rare non-vascular plants - mosses and lichens - which the development team has not surveyed. The unusual geomorphological aspect of the site, shadowed from some of the afternoon sun by Spencer Butte, rising more than 1000 feet higher directly to the southwest, may help account for its special value as non-vascular plant habitat. |
