| I wonder if anyone will ever build another inhabited bridge. Everyone loves them and there are not enough to go around![/url] |

The habitable bridges competition in London a few years ago was wonderful.
There were developers who did want to build Zaha Hadid's fantastic bridge. Great design, developers who could finance it, people who would buy into it.
Why didn't it happen ? No idea. _________________ Richard Haut has worked with the architectural profession for over 25 years and produces the weekly Richard Haut's Competitions, which has given architects details of many thousands of projects for which they can apply across Britain and Europe. |

| check out this past year's P/A award winner in Architecture Magazine... i can't seem to find an image of it online, but the cover was a guest house project (i believe) built on the base of an existing bridge located on the client's site. interesting project, and interesting result. sorry i can't find a link to share, but it's in the January 04 issue. |
