When it is said to use a default value of 5 uses per day of flush in a resident use in the LEED guide.
What is the default value to specify Dual flush - how many times will it be full flush and how many times will it be low flush?
Would appreciate if anyone could let me know at earliest.
Thanks, BK _________________ Bharat

I know for commercial facilities, men are assumed to use the urinal 2 out of three times, and I think in reality people pee more often than dropping loads.
I can't say for certain, but I would guess you would assume 3 low flow uses and 2 full flush uses per day for each occupant? Hope this helps, and sorry I can't be more definitive... _________________ Joel McKellar, LEED AP

Thanks,
I was going by the same assumption as for commercial is 1:2 proportion that is 1 time W.C and 2 times Urinal and that would add up to 6 then - which is not the residential default which is 5. I will take 2:3 assumption as you said - would be playing a safer game. _________________ Bharat
