Hand scraped surface is also named hand pressed surface. It appears in market about over 3 years ago. And it becomes popular and popular bit by bit. The shape of finish is like the even clay surface pressed with patulous fingers. Also there is real wood grain on the surface. So this surface offers a hardwood like appearances. And it is more skidproof due its uneven finish. The popular dimensions for it are 1212*163*12.3mm, 1212*143*12.3mm. The following dimensions are also available: 1212*163*8.3mm, 1212*143*8.3mm. Now some manufacturers begin to produce 807mm long hand scraped surface which may be a new trend for this type of laminate flooring. For the purpose of hardwood imitation, 12.3mm thickness is better.
