hey... my name is Krystle Shaw... i'm from Brampton Ontario Canada... i'm 18 (soon to be 19 yay!!! in March) years old... and i just wanted to say that i'm new to all this architecture... but my interests in it have been around for along time...

i remember at the age of 8 that i took some boxes cut them up took some wood glue and made a model of the house of the one i was living in at the time... unfortunately... it was rained on some time ago... and paper and water do not mix... lol

my father has this program on our computer and it's been there for a few years now... it's called 3D architect... and i absolutely LOVE to go along and use it to create my own little imaginary dream homes... i'm sure if i went along and tried the math most of them probably wouldn't work.. but i enjoy making them none-the-less.

i'm taking an architechtural drafting class every thursday learning how to use autocad 2001 (which i still want to install on my home computer) and i was told by a former architechture student that the firm he was in didn't even use that program.. but oh well... i'm enjoying it.. it's alot of work... too many commands to memorize if u ask me... but it definately makes the process faster instead of trying to look for all the commands through the headings

i am taking architecture in co-op (co-operative education; it's when a company will take on a student to help them learn the neccessary skills for a job of there interests) next semester and i can't wait... i've been told it's alot of work... and i'm expecting it to be more work than i think it is... but i think i'll enjoy it anyways... i've already had an interview with the owner of the company and he cannot wait until i begin.. and really neither can i...!!! he asked me if i'd be interested in the construction or the secertarily aspect of it all... and to be honest i think i'll enjoy both.

anyways... that's my little introduction.. and i hope to be an active member on here (unfortunately i only know about half the stuff your talking about *shrugs* oh well)

talk to u guys later

*huggles* Krystle
