The Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) is hosting its 37th annual conference on research, environment, and design. EDRA37 happens May 3-7, 2006 at the Sheraton Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta. Please help us spread the word about this wonderful international event!

EDRA's Early-Bird Registration ends March 20th, 2006. Don't miss this great opportunity for a discounted rate to attend the year's premier international environmental design research event. Register at http://www.edra.org/cgi-bin/rform.cgi

EDRA's annula conferences draw architects, planners, interior designers, academics, practitioners, consultants, and students from around the world to discuss design, research, and the relationship between humans and the built environment. AIA CEUs are available to AIA member attendees.

This year's conference offers an unparalleled mix of speakers and research. Joining keynote speaker former ambassador Andrew Young are plenary speakers including the CDC's Howard Frumkin, Georgia Tech's Ellen Dunham-Jones, Mindspring-founder and developer Charles Brewer and Dr. Robert Bullard of Clark Atlanta's Environmental Justice Center. In addition there are presentations on past EDRA Places-award winners and numerous symposium tracks including post-occupancy evaluation, architectural programming, conflict and resolution, sustainability and land use, homelessness, health and the environment, environmental gerontology, design education, workplace environments, crime and the built environment, housing, zoo design, culture and architecture, and disasters.

Also enjoy:

- Presenters from almost every continent (we're only missing Antarctica);
- Sessions highlighting over a dozen of EDRA's special interest networks;
- Innovative looks at conflict, deisgn, and conflict resolution;
- EDRA's impressive book display and silent auction to benefit EDRA students;
- Nontraditional presenters like politicians, the homeless and others;
- A wide array of tours highlighting interesting design solutions in Atlanta; and
- EDRA's own Places awards, student awards, and career awards at Zoo Atlanta!
