Navino87,

Welcome aboard.

You need to provide some more information, then you might get the right person(s) helping you start your project.

1) What country are you planning on building?

2) Being four stories, is it a single-family or multi-family dwelling? Here in America, a four story building is typically a multi-family dwelling. It could be apartments (rentals) or condomiumins (each unit owned separately)

3) Are you building in a rural setting, urban setting or somewhere in between?

4) What building materials are readily-available/ What materials are typically used. Concrete, brick, stone, wood, steel.....

Lets see if we can't give you some direction.

Try looking at mosaics - could be nice for exterior, as well as external paving or internal bathrooms/floors etc. - one recomended website:

http://www.eilonmosaics.com

also try some other forums abut house design - you can find quite a lot of usefull info there.

Will you build in the city or the country or a suburburan area?

Do you want the style of the building to be Modern or traditional?

Very cool.

There is a very fine book on Modern Housing types that might get you started. It is called Modern Housing Prototypes. Then you can work with a local architect to assist you in the final design.

Please tell me some latest softwares for designing houses...

I have tried 3D Home Architect Design Suite Deluxe 8, floor plan 3d, archicad etc.. Those are not up to the mark... those seams to be old packages as there are no new objects for designing like lcd tv, computers, & some attractive objects...

So tell me some latest software for designing houses... also mention whether it will be easy for beginners....

Does 3D Max just make it better eye candy or are there other reasons for using it?

All the software suggestions and advice you are giving this poor guy will make him broke buying software, take years to master the software languages suggested, and never be feasible for a private party who wished do design a home if he has no software, cad or much less if he has little architectural experience.

It also seems, Navino, you have not fully explored the possibilities of the various softwares you have suggested, as contrary to what you are thinking, they DO afford many tools and the majority of tools for designing, as you are searching for. I have extensive experience designing in cad and know what I am talking about.

The correct procedure is to hire an architect and engineer, as there are just to many technical issues involved for the novice.

I would agree with usarender. An enduser hardly needs to know the intricacies involved in the overall design. Search directories or your local contacts for an established architect.
