You can check laminate flooring with the folowing method if you don't have special tool:

1. The bottom layer, balance back layer, should be flat, smooth. And there should be no obvious color difference on the layer.

2.The core. The particle of core should be fine. The particle of core should be not easy to drop when you use some hard and acuate things such as key to scratch it. For HDF supporting material, the density should be over 850g/cm3.

3. The decorative layer should be fine, clear and vivid. And there should be no big stain and leak on this layer.

4. The top layer: The top lay is wearing resistant layer. The relevant ratings are AC1, AC2, AC3, AC4 and AC5. There shouldn’t be big crack, stain, blaze on this layer. You can use a key or other spiculate thing to scratch the top layer. The wear resistance is not strong if particle is easy to drop.

5. The planks should can be installed and taken apart easily. The locking system should still keep well after the planks are taken apart.
