You could always try another craft without damaging your professional career.
Poetry,
Literature,
Journalism,
Painting,
Sculpture,
Industrial design,
Engineering, or
POT HOLEING.

Well, ARC1TEC, as of last Autumn, I resigned from my full-time permanent post at a commercial architectural multinational and took a contract position for a four day week in, rather accidentally, a better architectural practice. So in the three remaining days I'm expanding my forays into:
1. writing
2. reading (voraciously)
3. musical composition / recording (just starting after a ten year break: my old synths are now 'vintage'! yeay!)
4. 'poetry' although I'd more call it 'free-verse' as I associate poetry with meticulous heavy-labour and somewhat intimidating
5. painting (just a wee bit: as with all the above, the ideas come in far greater volume and at far greater speed than my appetite for producing real-world artifacts)
6. video

The medium is part of the message, but not the most important part... Cool

Heh, you're now slotting in just above Vanessa Paradis and her 'Divine Idylle' Chris Smile
Once I finish recording either my 'homme - rabbit - femme' piece or 'Proud Young Ladies' you'll be the first to know Wink
anyways, good stuff... thanks for posting[/u]
