Sometimes damage is found at the edge of laminate flooring. There is several possible reasons for the damage:
1. The edge is damaged due to wrong packing method. Laminate flooring should be packed with thick box. The whole package should be neat. Messy package will make floor planks impact each other during transportation. If the impact is too much, the edge will get damaged.
2. The quality of support material is too bad. When installer install and take the plank apart, the edge of laminate flooring possibly gets damaged.
3. The installer work in a wrong way when tightening the locking system at the short side. The installer uses too much power to tighten the locking system at the short side. And the edge at the short gets damaged. |
