Is anyone aware of any articles about the process of punching holes in post-tensioned concrete, specifically unbonded concrete?

We realize this is something that you typically just don't do, but have found some evidence that it is possible.

Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?

Locating new penitrations in an exisitng PT slab is possible proivded of course the resulting slab with the penitrations has the required capaicty.

There is a non-destructive testing instrument called Ground Probing Radar (GPR) that is used for locating the tendons if your opening is intended to between the tendons. If tendons need to be cut this is more difficult, becasue depending on the tendon profile you may add additonal force to the slab. You can cut tendons and re-anchor them most likely supplemental framing will be needed to resit the tendon forces and support the new opening, all depends on what you need to do. If you like send me a sketch with the existing structural drawings and I can review.
