In my research connecting the ancient Tiwanakus and their origins, I continually fall back on the ancient Mycenean, Greek, Egyptian, Judaic, and Turkish-Anatolian cultures. The following bust I describe as "Cyclades man, 1500 BC" ...you may notice, this image is virtually identical to the statuary faces of Tiwanaku and Easter Island.
While doing this research, I have come across possibly the most picturesque architectural location in the world, and I propose that to be the Cyclades Island Group of Greece, and specifically the island of Santorini. I may not be right as to the best of the best, in the whole world, but I invite all to prove me wrong!

It is not by accident that 5000 year old cultures, deeply tuned into art and geometric figures, and sculpture, and wonderful pottery, also reflect this love in the geometric curves of its architecture of today.
The best architecture design in the world: Santorini. Let your eyes and your soul enjoy!

| Those ancient places just have something cozy about them. It's not just the visual aspect of it, but the whole cohesive feel of it is amazing. When I went to Greece, there were just so many detailed that heightened my senses. Wherever you go, there's something to observe. The salty breeze, the delicately placed pacing stones on the ground, the friendly people, the unique landscape. You really have to be there to experience it. I should go back again sometime. The food was amazing and there were so many things to do and learn about. |
