| There are 79 giant power-generating wind turbines that power the building. I am assuming the revolving mechanism will be powered by engines or some sort of hydraulic system. |

I'm not sure but I suspect there is one magic fairy per each unit that is responsible for waste removal and utilities. Two elves per floor which counteract friction and momentum. And a team of ogres in the basement for additional power. Oh and I think leprechaun's supplied the financing. _________________ Chris Stewart

| the structural issues seem like they would be the most difficult to overcome...you have to figure there are no loads being sent down the outside of the building...everything is transferred to the center... seems like it would want to sway a whole lot |

I have a question, maybe it is very silly or stupid in someone's eyes:
why there are many skyscrapers in Dubai? They are rich for Oil, but when all of the oil were brought up from the underground, is it easy to have earthquake? Is it safe to build so many skyscrappers?
I think most people know TangShan Earthquake in 1976, now, all of the buildings in Tangshan center city are not allowed higher than 6 floors.
Sorry for my silly question, but i really want to know it... _________________ I have free wings to let me fly... fly into the sky...

I get in trouble for asking silly questions.
Like: Just because you can build something does it mean you should?
Is the world a better place for expending so much energy on a big Rubix cube?
Would pigeon poo clog up the machinery? _________________ n/a |

Do you all realize that you're giving the "architect" exactly what he was looking for?
The damned thing will never be built.
But it doesn't really matter because the whole planet is talking about it. |

Pigeon poo is always a valid question no matter what the architecture.
I admit I was playing the odds and betting safe. _________________ n/a |

hehe, intersting point. Maybe this is not a bad way to make postive advertisement? Just like most of Movie stars, singer stats... they need much much positive and negative news to let people remember them... maybe... i think _________________ I have free wings to let me fly... fly into the sky...

Guys i guess this is old news, but is there any chance this thing is actually going to get built?
I personally dont see it happening. But, if its already in progress or something like that, then i am definitely putting the ol' foot in mouf.
Whats the deal? |

This project is for real. We were contacted last year about providing architectural concrete finishes around the exterior of the project and two interior seamless floors.
