hello everybody!
I`ve been working on a project for an annex to an existing shopping mall here in Brazil, and have searched for all applicable legislation concerning the number of toilets that i should set. But, unfortunately, i haven`t found any official document with any kind of dimensioning equation, based on the number of visitors, or the constructed area. I wonder if any of you guys could give me a hand on this? Do you know if there is a common universal equation to apply in this case? or if there are any documents i could refer to?
I`d really appreciate any help i could get...
thanx!!

Not that it would be "universal", but you might try the 2003 edition of the International Building Code, published by the International Code Council--
www.iccsafe.org
This code has been widely adopted within the Unitde States, and also in several foreign jurisdictions. I would think its provisions are sound for any location. |
