My studio uses primarily autocad, but a lot of our clients send us VW files... and we have to convert both ways. I can import/export as a DWG/DXF in VW, but there seems to be some exponential memory usage whenever I convert. This makes it problematic to email drawings back and forth, since even compressed files are huge. Any suggestions? _________________ Nathan Combs

Make certain that the file you want to export contains the layers that you want to export. You can select this option in the dialog.
Also, if you have more than one sheet in your VectorWorks document, you might want to try exporting one sheet at a time. That should help the export document size. _________________ John Cruet
