"Trends suggest that Eugene's population will double in thirty years. (That's 130,000 more people.) Policy points toward keeping growth inside the urban growth boundary. So, density will increase within the city.

"We need to protect our "pocket open spaces," or they will be developed.

"Build up, not out. That's my mantra."
