Subject: CSR Open House, Round II

Next Monday and Tuesday, July 24 & 25, SP&M/LTD will host a second open
house to discuss and gather input on the Comprehensive Service Redesign
(CSR), the changes to be effective September, 2001. The event will be again
at the Center Building of the Eugene Station near CSC, from 10 a.m. until 7
p.m. each day. Staff will be available during these times to answer
questions, gather input, and clarify the proposals.

The proposed changes can be viewed and input made either through our Web
site at www.ltd.org, or at the Eugene Station display. There is a display
in the Operators Lounge in Glenwood and will also be on display at our
booths at the Lane County Fair and the Eugene Celebration.

We will continue to solicit input and make changes through November of
this year. In November, staff will present a recommended service package to
the LTD Board of Directors, and a service package is anticipated to be
approved at the December Board meeting.
