This is EXTREMELY important! Please forward to all relevant lists.

Lane County Planning Commission's final deliberations / decision meeting on
the Eugene Sand & Gravel's nasty proposal to convert river road family
farms to a gravel mining operation and asphalt plant: Harris Hall -
Tuesday October 17th, 2000 at 6pm.

Although members of the public will not be allowed to speak at this point
in the process, a strong showing that evening can influence the outcome.
ES&G may pay its employees to be there, so we'd like to pack the place
EARLY so we can show the overwhelming public opposition to this proposal.
