URGENT - PLEASE CALL YOUR SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVE TODAY!Yesterday, the Senate Budget Committee passed a budget resolution that
included revenues from Arctic Refuge leasing. The day before, the House
Budget Committee passed a resolution that does not specifically include
Refuge revenues but leaves the door open for the Resources Committee to
include Arctic drilling during the budget reconciliation - the next stage of
the process.These attempts to sneak Arctic Refuge drilling into the budget process are a
backdoor maneuver that has nothing to do with the federal budget, and
everything to do with the influence of the oil lobby in Washington, DC.
THIS MANEUVER MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO SUCCEED!It is now more important than ever to remind our Congressional friends to
stand up and make sure that an issue as important as this isn't buried in
the budget process.To save America's last great wilderness, it's crucial that every single
