Friends of Tugman – February 2026 Report
The Friends of Tugman (aka The Tuggers) typically meet every other week somewhere in Tugman Park. We typically meet on Wednesdays from 10:00 am – 12 noon and/or select weekend dates. Exact time and park location is dependent on weather conditions and current project(s).
- We held (1) volunteer work event at Tugman Park in February: 2/18
- February 18th highlights: weeded in the north end of the park; continued ground prep (digging blackberries, string trimming grasses, pruning willows) for future restoration site in north end; chopped and dispersed debris from Tugman Creek; investigated the blackberry removal from the park’s south end by P&OS & Sheriff’s crew; picked up trash park-wide
- Our regularly scheduled Wednesday and weekend volunteer work events for March & April 2026 are: Wed. 3/4 (10:00 am – 12 noon), Sun. 3/18 (10:00 am – 12 noon), Wed. 4/1 (10:00 am – 12 noon), Sun. 4/12 (10:00 am – 12 noon)
