The Transportation Committee met once in January via Zoom, with two members attending.

We will continue to meet the first Weds each month at 11:00 a.m. via Zoom for now.
The main topic of conversation was the committee hosting a community event during 2024. Some ideas were:
  • Walking or biking the trail along Amazon Park from one point to another (e.g., Frank Kinney Park to Amazon Park) with stops in between committee members manning stations.
  • Meeting in Amazon Park next to LTD Amazon Station to draw interest in making that station more of a neighborhood transportation hub.
  • Highlighting the “Blue Bikes” program a several of the rental locations.
We will discuss further at our Feb meeting.
