• The Transportation Committee met on May 7. The invited guest was Logan Telles, City of Eugene Transportation Planner. Logan gave an update on the speed calming cushions (three) along Hilyard St fronting Tugman Park. Repaving Hilyard and addition of the cushions will be completed by fall 2025. Other news: through bond funding, flashing/caution signs will be installed near schools at Fox Hollow and Donald, at 30th and University, and near the Village School on Willamette.
  • Four members of the Transportation Committee (Linda Duggan, Rachel Anderson, John Dubin, Lucy Bambrey) and Linda Duggan’s husband Tom performed sidewalk cleanup of overhanging vegetation on May 10. The property was a large corner lot at the intersection of Willamette St and Oak St.
  • The next meeting of the committee will be on June 4. We will plan activities for this calendar year and beyond to include in the SEN Annual Plan to submit to the Office of Equity and Community Engagement.
