Lane County COAD is Standing By

Lane County COAD is actively monitoring the Priceboro Fire currently burning near the Linn and Lane county lines, the Salmon Fire currently burning east of Oakridge, the Bedrock Fire on the Middle Fork Ranger District, and the Lookout Fire burning on the Willamette National Forest north of the community of McKenzie Bridge. There are evacuation notifications in effect. Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek has invoked the Emergency Conflagration Act for the Lookout Fire. A Red Flag Warning is in place until 8 PM.

Lane County residents can get alerted about emergencies by signing up for Lane Alerts at http://lanealerts.org/. Download Watch Duty to view nearby wildfires and firefighting efforts in real-time.

A non-emergency call center is available at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 14. The non-emergency call center is 541-682-2055.
