Hello Ready Southeast Neighbors Volunteers,
I hope this message finds you well. As we continue to prioritize our community’s emergency preparedness, I wanted to extend my gratitude to those who joined us at the Wildfire-focused SEN General Meeting in March. A special thank you goes out to David for his excellent coordination of the event. You can enjoy a radio version of Bart Johnson’s talk if you missed it here (thanks John Q!)
Our efforts this month remain steadfast with a series of activities geared towards enhancing our readiness. First and foremost, on Sunday, April 14th we have our regular Second Sunday Radio Check-In, which serves as a crucial touchpoint for us to ensure we’re all connected for an eventuality. Following this, we have a Ready SE Committee meeting. Radio practice kicks off at 7 PM, with the virtual face-to-face segment starting at 7:30 PM via Google Meet. You can expect to receive the meeting link and agenda on the Friday preceding the meeting. To help you prepare and participate effectively, please review our 2024 work plan and the current draft of our neighborhood disaster plan.
